Selected text
Do not forget a simple thing: program TexLab always works only with selected fragment of the text. Therefore, to cause commands on pressing of hotkeys or to cause the popup menu it makes sense, only preliminary having selected text. If before a call of operation TextLab it has not been selectes any text operation will not conceive any action. For text selection use key Shift + Arrows or movement of the mouse with the pressed left button.
